Do you commonly make CD, podcast, or blog compilations for your friends? Are you on the hunt for great new music on a near daily basis? Do you enjoy music of the independent rock & pop persuasion? Do you like surfing Web radio stations for the next artist to love? M

If the answer to all or most of these questions is yes, please read on if you're interested in joining a club (based in San Francisco, but aiming to represent the best music cities worldwide) dedicated to music sharing and appreciation.

The format of the club is as follows:
- Each member is a designated a rotating week approximately every 8 weeks (e.g. 2nd week of every other month) to create a stereo-playable audio CD mix and snail-mail a copy of the mix to all other members.
- Every week has a different member assigned so the rest of the club gets something new each week.
- Each mix/CD/compilation can involve a theme of the creator's choosing (or no theme at all)
- All virtual (group email) and snail mail (to distribute your mixes via CD)

Requirements for all members:
- Reliable, timely production and mailing of mix on turn (each member is allowed one 'mulligan' for holidays & emergencies)
- A PC or Mac capable, blank CD-R discs, and a program for burning CD mixes
- At least one communication to the group when mixes are mailed, and responsive to club emails requesting feedback
- Creation of audio format CDs playable in any stereo (not MP3 or data CDs requiring a computer to hear)
- Inclusion of at least a numbered artist & track listing, and a plastic case or paper CD sleeve

Nice-to-haves:
- An enjoyment of CD design (faces, covers, liner notes)
- An enjoyment of music exploration/challenges
- A penchant for music technology/toys
- An enjoyment of music writing (some past members have include musical essays/ramblings and/or track-by-track comments with their mixes)

- One or more of the following:

The Hill of Tara- ancient inauguration site of the High Kings of Ireland. We will enjoy the audio visual display in the information centre followed by a guided tour of the site.

Bective Abbey- we will explore this fabulously preserved 12th Century Cistercian Abbey.

Trim Castle- a visit to the grounds of Trim Castle followed by an entertaining guided tour of the main keep building where ww will learn more of the history of this fascinating castle.

Returning Dublin @ 5.30pm
